Welcome to High
School Youth Ministry!!!
Our High School
Youth Ministry program serves our community by providing resources and
faith experiences that help lead teens closer to Christ. This is
accomplished by creating widespread opportunities for teens to grow in
their faith.
Any high school students currently
attending grades 9-12, Catholics or non-Catholics are invited to
attend!
Wednesday With the Word
High School Bible Study normally takes
place every Wednesday night from 7:30pm-9:00pm in the Parish Center
(Room5). We come together and read the upcoming readings for Sunday.
This gives us an opportunity to reflect more about the meaning of the
readings, and it gives us the chance to interpret the readings and
relate them to our daily lives as young Catholics.
Sunday
Night After Church (S.N.A.C.)
Sunday Night After Church is a
gathering open to all high school students. During the school year, we
meet in the Parish Center, 6:00pm until 8:00 pm.
We feed your body & soul! Food, faith
and fun, guest speakers, hands-on activities, song, prayer, skits,
games, movies, personal reflection, and question and answer sessions.
We share our lives and the stories of our own faith, doubts and
triumphs.
Annual High School Retreat
The High School Retreat is for anyone
in the 9th-12th grade who wants to try something different. It's for
anyone in high school. It doesn't matter what school you go to, what
sport you play, or even how close you are to God! Invite your friends!
Bring your brother or sister. Fill out the paper work and come on
retreat with us!
The next retreat will be in January
2010.
Mission
Orlando
Opportunities are often scheduled to
give our youth a chance to put their faith into practice through
different community service projects. We often work with the Ronald
McDonald House, Second Harvest Food Bank, and the Primrose Center.
